Well firstly for me its kind of easy as I only have the bare essential in the master bedroom.
It's completely clutter free, there is only two bed side tables and one storage bed box for linens.
That's it.. nothing under the bed, no clutter on the bedside tables and furniture.
I like the master bedroom to be a sanctuary!

My tips:
1. Mount your TV to the wall - eliminates a whole tv cabinet/bench!
2. Delegate anything that doesn't need to be in your bedroom throughout the rest of your home
3. Get a bed box
4. Paint a feature wall in a dark colour, it makes the room look bigger
5. Use smaller bedside tables and smaller lamps
6. Don't use curtains, use blinds and use a colour that matches the wall
7. Buy a queen or double bed instead of king size
8. Don't use too many different colours in the room, stick colours of the same shade
