Can I start by saying I used to have horrible and super sensitive skin?
About 5 years ago I finally found a routine that works for me!
My skin is still sensitive but nothing like it use to be.
I don't believe the most expensive brands are the best, everyone's skin is different so it's best to try a few different products until you find the best one for you.
Also I don't believe that there is a difference between day & night cream - all you need is a good moisturizer!
(I think a good moisturize is one that can be used around your sensitive eye area as well as your face and body, if it burns in the eye area keep searching! You don't need a different moisturizer for every part of your body.)
I also don't believe any cream will erase wrinkles - so stock up on fruit and veggies!
MY DAILY ROUTINE
Morning:
clean skin with facial wipe
moisturize
Night:
remove make up with facial wipe
cleanse
moisturize
In addition I also use a facial scrub twice a week, drink plenty of water & get enough sleep!
Tip - don't use a harsh facial wipe, this will dry your skin out!
In regards to make up, I want my skin to breathe so I avoid all heavy make up!
I use a light powder for coverage, a little blush on the cheeks and some eyeliner.
I feel that taking care of my skin from the inside and allowing it to breathe everyday is what gives me a clear and glowing complexion and so when it comes to nights out my skin is clear enough that I don't need liquid foundation.
Tip - to add a little extra glow and some shimmer or silver eye shadow on top and below the arch of your eyebrow, the inner waterline of your eyes and along the tip of your nose.
